A wonderful interview with a governor

Thank you  so much to Russell who came to visit Year 6 to tell them all about his families experiences during WW2.  We loved hearing about how your aunty and uncle escaped and how they managed to bring this with them. Many Thanks

Creating electrical circuits in Year 6

6W had an interesting afternoon attempting to build parallel and series circuits with different amounts of bulbs and cells.  We had loads of fun trying to add more and more batteries to the circuits and seeing what would happen

Year 6 enjoying a visit from Bill - a WW2 Evacuee

Year 6 had a fabulous afternoon meeting Bill who came to talk to them all about his experiences during WW2.  Bill was amazing, answering all the children's well thought out questions and we all loved it when he read us a story based on  other children's experiences at that time.  Both Year 6 teachers were  also very proud of how the children behaved throughout this visit, Bill was extremely impressed with all of them.
