Unicef Wants and Needs

This week in Year 6, we were looking at fundamental similarities between people who look very different. This led into discussion of how, although people may look different, we all have the same basic needs which feeds into children's rights.

The children had to look at Unicef's Wants and Needs cards to develop an understanding of what people need to live, survive, develop and thrive. They then had to work with somebody they would not usually work with to discover what similarities they may have.
