SCHOOLS CLOSED WEEK 4

ARTWORK FOR PERILOUS POLES

After looking through some images, I came across these and think they deserve celebrating.
Year 6 children created these in the last 2 days of school before it closed because of COVID-19.
In the rush of preparing for homes learning, I sadly hadn't looked back at these images!
Well done Y6, they are AMAZING!

PERILOUS POLES

To start off our next topic, Y6 visited Brig House Educational Centre.
We all had fun, especially on the Blind Snowstorm Challenge, The Polar Parachute and Shackleton's Trail activities.
We were not put off by wet conditions- some children positively embraced the mud... quite literally!
Y6 teachers give thanks to Mr Wills and Mr Smith especially for their early start and preparations to ensure our day was successful! Ken, Mrs Miles and Mrs Jacku all pitched in to ensure children had the most fun possible as they learned new polar facts. Keep scrolling for pictures. Can you find out what some of our QR codes are saying?
